My Review on the Quick Lok Guitar Stool

As of late, I have decided to invest my time and resources into improving my guitar practice regiment. In doing so, the first item I had to purchase was a guitar stool. The reason for this is because the correct posture allows for maximum practice time. This reason for this is due to the decrease of strain that the guitar stool gives when you  compare it to sitting on a normal chair which was not designed for guitarists.

Before I went ahead and made just any purchase, I thought I’d spend a bit more time into researching different guitar stools and chairs and then choosing the one which I thought would suit me and my practice regimen the best.

From my research I came to the conclusion that the Quick Lok guitar stool was the best stool for my needs and since purchasing it I couldn’t be happier.

Thought I’d do a little bit of a review on this item seeing as though it is now an important part of my guitar practicing arsenal and has even made its way into my live performance as well.

The Quik Lok is a bit more expensive than other guitar stools on the market however, this is a high quality guitar stool and judging by the reviews I read and having owned it now for a few weeks, I can definitely tell you that the extra bucks spent on this guitar chair were well worth it!

Everything is adjustable and folds up exceptionally easily and well which is great for home and live use!

Why Gel Pens are the Best Pens

I know what you are thinking. You’re definitely thinking about the fact that I am posting about gel pens when my website promotes my music, my lessons and my instrument. However, I have a slight obsession with stationary and thought I would take this opportunity to talk about my favourite kinds of pens to use for both writing and doodling.

I use gel pens over ballpoint pens or any other pens for that matter for a whole host of reasons. I will share with you these reasons why gel pens are the best.

  1. Gel Pens are a Responsive Writing Instrument

Gel pens respond exceptionally welly to your writing and drawing in comparison to say a ball point. This is due to the fact that the gel ink flows perfectly from pen to paper allowing for very accurate articulation when it comes to writing. This brings us onto my next point..

2. Gel Pens Glide on the Writing surface

As I mention above, gel pens have a way of gliding ever so smoothly onto the writing surface. My preferred writing surface include paper or a thinner piece of cardboard. I feel these two writing surfaces do the gel pens the most justice.

3. Gel Pens vary in color

Gel pens come in the most incredible selection of colours ranging from your normal rainbow colours to metallic colours to glitter colours, milky colours and litterally everything inbetween

4. Gel Pens come in Sets or in Singular

You can get gel pens in large sets, medium sets, small sets or singular gel pens depending on what your needs or preferences are. I buy a whole lot of single black gel pens and then I buy a large set of colour gel pens.

5. There are many Gel Pen Brands

Sometimes it can be overwhelming seeing the sheer amount of options available when it comes to gel pens. Don’t let this put you off gel pens, you will be able to tell by the price if they are decent quality or not. The cheaper gel pens are cheap for a reason. That has always been my rule of thumb.

I hope you enjoyed my little blog post on one of my other crazy little passions being stationary and more specifically, gel pens.
